Property developers Seven Capital have predicted the top 6 Birmingham postcodes for 2018 that property and buy-to-let investors should consider as investment hotspots in Birmingham.


    Edgbaston, B15

    This area of the city is becoming established as Birmingham’s medical quarter, with over 550 medical companies in the area. The new HSBC head offices are also only a 5-munite walk away. Situated at the former Pebble Mill, there has been much investment in this exclusive area which is bringing a large rental population to Edgbaston.


    Harborne, B17

    Properties in this village are very much in demand for families and young professionals. House prices have increased by 3.04% since January 2017 due to its location close to the city centre and its various shops, cafes and restaurants.


    Holloway Head, B1

    B1 is Birmingham’s prime city-centre postcode. It is near to many of the city’s main attractions, including the Bullring, The Mailbox and Grand Central Station. Demand for properties in this area is only set to increase as the nearby major Paradise development project goes into its final stages. This project will create 1.8 million square feet of commercial, retail, leisure and office space as well as a new pedestrianised area.
