So the next of our articles is about The Broadley Group developers, who like North Property Group, also call Leeds home.
Originally founded as a small family decorating business in the 1960s. It has since gone on to expand into many other areas of the supply chain. Including construction and refurbishment, mechanical and electrical, joinery, and flooring.
This has allowed The Broadley Group to have complete control, flexibility and cost certainty on all projects. They offer a complete end-to-end construction service in both the public and private sectors. This includes both new build and refurbishment solutions.
Years of Experience
The Broadley Group’s senior management team comes with hundreds of years’ combined experience in the property sector. The workforce has grown larger each year and now comprises 198 direct employees in various multi-faceted roles. Despite this growth, The Broadley Group still has family values. Much of the workforce is now 2nd generation employees of The Broadley Group.
January 2016 saw Leeds-based The Parklane Group buy a 50% share of The Broadley Group. With it came The Parklane Group’s three decades of experience in the maintenance and development of the Leeds rental market. This partnership has helped The Broadley Group become one of the UK’s premier construction developers and take on bigger projects.
In which The Broadley Group have been involved, there are numerous high-profile projects. In the commercial sector they have been awarded the contract to replace the major shop fronts at Harrods in London, they are also carrying out a complete refurb of Leeds Rhinos Training Academy and are currently refurbishing the Premier Suite, Executive Suite and the club shop at Headingley Stadium.
Their residential projects are just as impressive. Just a couple of the projects in Leeds they have worked on are the luxury Glassworks new build and the modern Brunswick Point (along with YPP Lettings). In London, The Broadley Group were commissioned by the Crown Estate to carry out a full refurbishment at Carlton House Terrace. Working with Gardiner & Theobald, The Broadley Group have redecorated the Grade I listed building to a stunning, luxury finish.
