First you need to work out your budget - how much can you afford? We can help you with this by arranging for you to talk to one of our Independent Financial Advisors. They will be able to guide you through everything from your finances to the right kind of mortgage for you.
Once you have got some advice, arrange a Mortgage in principle with your chosen lender.
Now it’s time to find your dream home! Contact North Property Group and we’ll help you find somewhere you love.
Once your offer has been accepted, we will reserve the home for you and at this point you should instruct a solicitor to work on your behalf. North Property Group can recommend one of our trusted solicitors, all of whom have very competitive rates.
Straight after reservation your Financial Advisor will complete your full Mortgage Application.
Once your Mortgage has been approved, the lender (i.e. Mortgage Company) will ask for a Survey Fee.
Once they have carried out the survey, the lender will issue your Mortgage Offer. This usually comes within one to three weeks of your application.
Now that the mortgage is arranged, it’s time to sign and exchange the contracts. We will agree a moving in day (legal completion date) at this point – which means it’s time to start thinking about packing!
