The building is now fully watertight, with roofing and window installations complete. First fix M&E is finished on upper floors, plastering has started on the top floor, and ground floor M&E is being finalised. External rendering will progress when weather permits. Gas installation awaits LCC permission, and water installation depends on postal address registration, expected shortly. External works will begin alongside internal second fix once services are installed.
In Block A, air and acoustical testing has been completed, electrical supply and heating are operational, and laminate flooring installation is underway. Block B has energised electrical supply and heating, with joinery first fix and decoration in progress. In Block C, mechanical first fix is complete, walls and ceilings are closed, and ground floor plastering is finished. Externally, most underground ducting, kerb lines, formation levels, and surface water drainage have been installed and connected to drains.
The construction at Fifth Grove is coming along well. In Block A, kitchen installations are underway, with shower trays and WHBs arriving Thursday, and tiling scheduled to begin on 2nd October. In Block B, ground floor plaster skimming is set to finish this week, mist coats are planned for next week, and kitchen deliveries are expected on 9th October. The first floor has windows, electricals, and plumbing mostly complete, with skimming at 20%. Block C roof tiling is ongoing, and screeds are set to commence on 2nd October. For externals, the substation is complete, and HV is installed on-site, but off-site HV connections await legal agreements.
