Already one of the most dynamic and exciting cities in the UK, the next few months will bring some truly delicious things to look forward to in Leeds. A number of Leeds investments into new restaurants and eateries are set to open in the early part of 2022. Here are our top 3 to look out for.
Blue Pavilion
Due to open this summer, Blue Pavilion is a luxury Chinese restaurant and karaoke bar. It is the newest venture from the owners of the award-winning Blue Sakura brand, which will make a Leeds investment of £2million into Blue Pavilion.
The premises are in the Merrion Centre and will be able to accommodate 130 covers. There will also be a private dining room and a K Kube karaoke venue with seven rooms.
Blue Pavilion director Tong Huang described the new premises. He said, “Our prime position within the Arena Quarter, coupled with stunning, contemporary surroundings will ensure Blue Pavilion is firmly on the map as a memorable dining destination for Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region.”
Home
Home is set to upgrade its premises with an investment into property at a new site. As one of the most popular restaurants in Leeds, it has outgrown its Kirkgate Location and will be reopening at Brewery Wharf in the early part of this year.
Home will still be run by Liz Cottam, owner of the fine-dining establishment and a former MasterChef semi-finalist. Liz said of the new location, “We want to be at the heart of new developments in Leeds, and this is the perfect space to expand our offer, welcome in new guests and keep doing what we do best.”
Meat:Stack
Following its success in Newcastle, Meat:Stack is making a Leeds investment by moving to the city. The American-styled restaurant is opening on Boar Lane between Mowgli and The Collective.
The independent burger restaurant will serve a variety of ‘real American’ cheeseburgers, fries, and a range of American breakfasts.
Tom Westman, partner and director of Meat:Stack hopes to open a second restaurant in Leeds if the first opening is successful.
Why Does This Matter For Investment Property?
Openings of new and exciting eateries can add to the popularity of an area and therefore the value of the property there. Property investment is the purchase of a property with the intention of generating financial returns – either through rental returns or house prices. So increasing house prices can be prosperous for owners of investment properties.
