Excellent progress has been made on the site with Aquitania set to be the first of the two projects to be completed. Recent activity on the site included kitchen installations, joinery, and flooring on the first two floors. Windows are fitted up to level 8, with plastering reaching level 4. Bathrooms are complete on levels 1-2.
Construction is progressing well. Steel framing and external weatherboard are installed to Level 7, and brickwork is at Level 2. Internal walls are up to Level 4, M&E distribution is complete to Level 8.
At Liverpool Waters, construction is progressing well. Concrete to the floors and roof, and block work to the ground floor area are complete at Aquitania. M&E commenced with distribution trays are now 90% complete at Aquitania and the brickwork is in progress. The internal walls have commenced and are now at Level 2 at Aquitania and the construction of the concrete walls is complete for both Aquitania and Mauretania. The upcoming works will include installation of windows, works to the roof and external works scaffolding, constructing walls to lift shaft and progressing internal walls while also commencing M&E 1st fix (cables and pipework) to apartments. The team aims to achieve water tightness for the entire structure by August. Aquitania is anticipated to be completed by end of Q1 2025, while Mauretenia’s completion is anticipated Q1 2026.
At Liverpool Waters, construction is progressing smoothly. The sheet piles for one block have been successfully installed, and the steel frames for the second block are now in place, marking significant milestones in the development process.
Construction started in Q1 2023, and already the infill of the dock is complete and ready for pilling.
