Pennine House is an architectural monument to Bradford’s heritage. Built in 1864, it was originally used as a wool warehouse before being turned into offices and finally becoming disused. The ‘Lofts at Pennine House’ project, led by developer Iqbal Singh, will see the sandstone building transformed into over 100 studio, one, and two bedroom flats.

Original Features Incorporated

Incorporating features such as columns, ceiling designs, wall panelling and fireplaces, each apartment will be designed around the building’s original architectural features. Residents here will experience the perfect mix of heritage and contemporary living. With every apartment benefitting from modern open-plan floorplans and state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings, as well as including voice-activated smart home technology.

As well as the historical aspects within the Pennine House apartments, other original pieces of Pennine House will be retained and renovated from the historical Bradford building. These heritage items include an ornate spiral staircase which will reside in the main entrance of the building. The only changes to the building’s façade will be the introduction of roller shutters with frosted glass. This will enhance its overall appearance.

Great Amenities

Developed with luxury city-centre living in mind have been the wider residential amenities at Pennine House. As well as a concierge service, media centre, gym and music studios. There are also shared outside spaces in the regenerated courtyard. These include a landscaped garden, shared community area, gazebo and play area. At the rear of the building, the car park with spaces for 71 cars will also be retained.

The location of Pennine House couldn’t be better. Situated in Bradford’s ‘Little Germany’ district in the city centre, the building is opposite the Westfield shopping centre and within easy reach of numerous eateries, bars, art galleries and the Bradford Playhouse.

Located in BD1 Postcode

Recently ranked as the 10th best in Britain for property yields was also Little Germany’s BD1 postcode. Reaching 8% and beating postcodes in Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds. Expected to reach £650 – £850 are monthly rental prices at Pennine House. Expected to complete at the end of September 2019 is the project.

The Lofts at Pennine House project and resulting rental prices are an amazing sign for the Bradford property market. This project proves there is definite rental demand within the city. Mainly from people seeking premier quality housing at market leading levels. This is a further extremely positive sign for the wider Bradford property market.
