Bradford’s extensive regeneration project isn’t confined to just one area. Bold in scope, the city has planned as many as 12 separate regeneration areas in its transformative Development Framework.
Southern Gateway: A Regeneration Powerhouse
The ‘Southern Gateway’ has been identified as one of the UK’s largest regeneration zones, supported by £4.5 billion in transport improvements includes Mass Transit and a proposed new rail station that would connect Bradford to Leeds in just 12 minutes and Manchester in under half an hour. It will create a thriving hub with new homes, offices, retail, and leisure spaces.
Located between Manchester Road and Leeds Road, this inner-city site is also set to deliver a mix of office, commercial, and residential developments, complemented by enhanced public spaces and green areas.
