To qualify all the businesses have to be independent, headquartered in the UK, have sales in their latest year in excess of £5m, but not more than £250 million, and be profitable: North Property Group enjoys some of the highest margins, with annual sales growth of 84.26% over three years.

The business, which ranks at number 46 on the list, was launched by Oli Banks, 29, and Tim Coen, 34, in 2017 with a £4,000 investment. They they have since turned into annual revenues of £5.6m, the Sunday Times said.

“The business focuses on sourcing buy-to-let investments in new-build developments and has sold 1,500 apartments around the UK to investors,” The Sunday Times added. “It opened an office in Manchester in 2021, and Banks and Coen have plans to almost double their 36-strong team by next year.”

Conveyancing firm Muve was also ranked in the Sunday Times 100 at position 39; annual sales growth over three years 93.60%

The Sunday Times stated: “Property buyers and sellers keen to get moving quicker may turn to this firm’s team of solicitors, which offers to seal the deal in as little as five weeks. Started in 2016 by a trio of legal entrepreneurs — Dan Watkins, 46, Claus Werner, 59, and the firm’s chief executive, David Jabbari, 60 — Muve aims to achieve speedy conveyancing through better use of technology and by outsourcing some functions to Sri Lanka. This helped it to generate sales of £8.6m last year.”
