NPG's very own Kate Varley and Cancan Kwok have both been named finalists for the Inspiring Women in Property Awards 2024.

North Property Group are delighted to announce that both Kate Varley, Head of Client Services, and Cancan Kwok, Marketing Manager, have both been nominated for the Inspiring Women in Property Awards 2024.

Kate has been nominated for the “Leader of the Year” in the Financial and Professional Services category. She has been with us at North Property Group for a total of seven years, since the company’s inception. A self-starter, she’s worked her way up from an administration apprentice in 2017, soon being promoted to sales progressor, then to senior sales progressor, to client services manager, and now Head of Client Services. She is well known in the conveyancing sector and has become integral to our operations. It is her tenacity, determination, and careful and considered approach to everything she does that has made her the star of North Property Group.

Cancan has been nominated for “Unsung Hero of the Year” in the Residential section. She is our Senior Digital Designer turned Marketing Manager. She is a highly experienced professional digital designer, with a focus on multimedia Design, creative strategy, and project management. She crafts the company’s brand identity, developing visually captivating and story-led content to be posted across various channels. She takes full ownership of projects, closely monitoring a project’s entire lifecycle. Cancan has been closely linked to our recent success, as she has been the leading force behind our rebranding. She has changed our brand image, logo, identity, and guidelines, and applied consistent messaging and visuals across the company.

And our successes? The company’s Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) stood at 84.26% over the last three years. The company’s total group revenue increased from £6.4 million in 2022 to £8.5 million in 2023, marking a 33% growth. Sales revenue also saw significant growth, rising from £5.1 million to £6.1 million (a 19% increase), while lettings revenue witnessed substantial growth, increasing from £1.1 million to £1.9 million (a remarkable 73% increase). The lettings portfolio of managed properties grew organically by 23%. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without Kate and Cancan, who remained steadfastly professional and attentive throughout the year.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to have them on board and to have their achievements recognised. The awards seek to shine light on inspirational women in the property industry.
