The shortlists for Insider’s Yorkshire Property Industry Awards 2023 can today be revealed, with a record number of entries submitted for this year’s event.

The winners of 16 categories will be announced at a dinner on 21 September at New Dock Hall in Leeds. A Property Personality award will also be presented on the night to someone who has made a major contribution to the region’s real estate sector.

The shortlist represents a qualifying period from 1 June 2022 to 31 May 2023 and spans all types of development and firms across Yorkshire.

Insider’s Yorkshire editor Ian Leech said: “These companies and schemes represent the very best of property development here in Yorkshire, which projects the offer and quality of the region far beyond its borders.

“Firms were eager to recognise the hard work of their teams in the last year and rightly so, there’s been some magnificent work completed. It’s particularly pleasing to see such a huge number of entries in the Deal and Residential categories, which could have been susceptible to any downturn.”
