The new Platform 0 at Bradford Foster Square station officially opened on 19 May 2025, with the first LNER train departing at 11:17am, offering passengers a journey to London in under three hours. This £24 million investment will support Bradford’s City of Culture celebrations by increasing LNER’s daily services from two to seven on weekdays and Saturdays, and six on Sundays. The upgrade will help minimise delays and ensure the station meets future demand.
